At PureSalt Addiction, we live and breathe the ocean. We're a family-owned and operated business, born on the tropical island of Siargao in 2022.

Our founder, Old Salty, has a story rooted in heritage and innovation — over 40 years dedicated to the ocean. It began in Australia in the late '70s with surfing, moved into windsurfing through the '80s and '90s (pushing innovation and helping pioneer wave sailing), then kitesurfing in the 2000s, followed by stand-up paddleboarding, and more recently, foiling.

Old Salty first came to Siargao back in 2000. That's when he fell under the spell of the "Siargao Curse" — and spent the next 18 years chasing waves around the world before finally setting down roots here for good.

This island has become our home. Our neighbours are our friends and family. We have a real sense of community, built on taking care of our environment and each other. We're not chasing fame or fortune — the island vibe is why we wake up every morning with a smile.
